Scientific Notebook Information
I am using Scientific Notebook (SNB) more and more on this site, especially in the "Advanced Calculus" sections. You will need SNB on your PC to view and interact with these files. (I have also put HTML versions of each file in case you don't have SNB).
SNB is software that incorporates a Maple (or MuPAD) mathematics engine and a Latex-based word processor. It has awesome power for doing mathematics and for producing text.
You can get a free trial 30 day download of SNB from here: Download Scientific Notebook.
Styles In SNB
Following are the most common styles that I use for SNB documents when distributing via the Web. You will need the following style information for the SNB files to look right. (If you don't have the styles on your PC, you will get an error message on loading the SNB files. Don't worry about this - you can just ignore it if you wish.)
Right click and choose Save Link As... and Save the files to the directory:
C:\Program Files\Scientific Notebook\Styles\article\
You will need to choose "All files" at the bottom of the "Save As" dialog box, otherwise the .CST files will have a ".TXT" extension and they won't work.
