# How to enter graphs

You can add graphs to your questions and replies.

### Functions

After clicking the "Add graph" button, you'll see the options for adding one or two mathematical functions. If you only want one function, leave the other one blank.

### Range of x and y

You can indicate the x-value range of your graph ("Min x-value" to "Max x-value") and y-value range ("Min y-value" to "Max y-value").

### Grids

You can change the grid interval.

### Graph size

You can indicate the graph width and height you want (in pixels), within limits.

### Equal scaling

Finally, you can indicate whether you want equal scaling on your axes (this is the same as leaving "Max y-value" empty).

### Preview

You can preview your graph using the "Preview graph" button.

### Insert into post

If you are happy with the graph, click the "Insert graph into post" button. That will copy the required code to your post.
