It is a programming language that was developed only in the last few years as an open-source concept. The acronym 'PHP' originally stood for Personal Home Page and it was developed byRasmus Lerdof as a short add-on to HTML for simple form processing.<\/p>\n<p>It has grown rapidly and now fuels over 18 million Web domains (source: <a href=\"http:\/\/php.net\/usage.php\">PHP.net<\/a>), including <b>squareCirclez<\/b>. I am learning as much as I can so I can tweak this site.<\/p>\n<p>It is interesting to reflect on what I do day-to-day. Probably 80% of my current work (Web development, email, mobile computing, etc, etc) <i>did not even exist<\/i> 15 years ago. So the need to re-invent ourselves becomes more and more important. <\/p>\n<p>What should we teach in schools, then? We certainly need to teach <i>content<\/i> but how much? And what?
