6. Final thought \u2013 persistence <\/h2>\n

Most of us are not born with "innate math talent" and even if we are, we need to put in some effort to fulfill our potential in math. This quote is from the US president who served for most of the 1920s:<\/p>\n

Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan "Press on" has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.<\/p>\n
