{"id":459,"date":"2006-11-20T13:09:40","date_gmt":"2006-11-20T13:09:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.intmath.com\/blog\/?p=459"},"modified":"2014-05-31T12:17:28","modified_gmt":"2014-05-31T04:17:28","slug":"greek-fonts-in-livemath","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.intmath.com\/blog\/mathematics\/greek-fonts-in-livemath-459","title":{"rendered":"Greek fonts in LiveMath"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Update [May 2014]<\/h2>\n<p><strong>I used to use LiveMath extensively on IntMath, but the product was not kept up to date, and there was no support, so I dropped it entirely.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A shame, because it was quite a good product in its time.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.intmath.com\/\">Interactive Mathematics <\/a>site (used to) use LiveMath throughout so that users can learn by changing variables, animating graphs, solving algebra problems and multiplying matrices, etc.<\/p>\n<p>I generally like(d) the LiveMath plugin, but at times it behave(d) weirdly. It replace(d) English words with Greek characters, like this:<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/www.intmath.com\/images\/snap2.gif\" alt=\"livemath greek\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It is an intermittent problem and when it happens, it happens in Firefox, IE and Opera.
