{"id":2231,"date":"2009-03-25T21:26:18","date_gmt":"2009-03-25T13:26:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.intmath.com\/blog\/?p=2231"},"modified":"2016-03-06T14:36:33","modified_gmt":"2016-03-06T06:36:33","slug":"graphsketchcom-free-online-math-grapher","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.intmath.com\/blog\/mathematics\/graphsketchcom-free-online-math-grapher-2231","title":{"rendered":"GraphSketch.com - free online math grapher"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Here's a great service for math students and teachers.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.graphsketch.com\">GraphSketch<\/a> will plot a range of functions including polynomial, trigonometric and exponential ones. <\/p>\n<p>You can download the resulting plot as a PNG image and use it in your notes.<\/p>\n<p>I like the anti-aliased (smooth) edges of the resulting curves &mdash; I find it unsatisfactory that most graphers give you chunky, pixelated ones.<\/p>\n<p>Here's an example (it's <span class=\"intmath\"><i>f<\/i>(<i>x<\/i>) = tan <i>x<\/i><\/span> and <span class=\"intmath\"><i>g<\/i>(<i>x<\/i>) = arctan <i>x<\/i><\/span> plotted on the one set of axes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/images\/2009\/03\/graph-sketch-plot.png\" alt=\"graph-sketch-plot\" title=\"graph-sketch-plot\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This is a well-executed, free application.
