LiveMath Example
We need to do it in two steps. [In other software, like MathCad or Scientific Notebook, you can do it all in one step].
First, we find the value of y. Then, we find the derivative of y. Lastly, we evaluate that derivative at the point of interest.
If you change the value of x, no problem. If you change the function, funny things will happen (it won't update).

Then, we find the equation of the tangent. If you change the function or the value of x, you will need to transfer the information to this next screen:
