Friday math movie: World Metrology Day 2011

By Murray Bourne, 20 May 2011

Today is World Metrology Day.

World Metrology Day commemorates the signing of the Convention of the Meter, in Paris, by 17 nations on 20 May 1875. The treaty created the International Bureau of Weights and Measures.

Here's some commemorative fun from Rachel Maddow's Moment of Geek.
